Falcoeira Branco by Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez is a white wine with a granitic soul and an almost aristocratic vocation, born in Valdeorras, in a place of dizzying slopes where the vine seems more like a human feat than a simple crop. Its character is supported by an aging of the Crianza style, with an interpretation that shuns clamor and prefers subtlety, like those expensive perfumes that do not announce their presence and yet linger in the memory.
It is a white with a serious gaze, but not a stern one; rather meditative, deep, the kind that speak in a low voice and leave long echoes. The winery imprints here a very precise intention: to show the nobility of a sunny, stony and austere place, where the fruit sharpens on the granite and time polishes the contours with a goldsmith's patience. The result is an elegant white wine, with a texture that combines tension and sensuality, as if the stone had learned to sing.
Procede de Valdeorras, en la zona de Falcoeira, sobre suelos graníticos pobres, ácidos y de textura gruesa. La viña se sitúa en terrazas estrechas y escarpadas, a una altitud elevada, cerca del río Bibei, en una exposición que favorece una maduración lenta y expresiva.Ese paisaje imprime al vino una austeridad magnífica: un pulso mineral, una frescura casi atlética y una sensación de lugar que no necesita artificios para imponerse.
