LA BRUJA DE ROZAS

Información sobre este vino:

La Bruja de Rozas is a red wine from the Comando G winery that moves with the elegance of someone who doesn't need to raise their voice to leave a mark. Under the Vinos de Madrid designation, this Garnacha tinta wine presents itself with the character of a young-wine style cuvée, although with a depth that rules out any idea of simplicity. Its name, almost legendary, seems to announce a spell of stone, air and fruit, and in the glass it indeed unfolds that kind of magnetism that attracts more through subtlety than through display.

There is in it an aesthetic of uncommon fineness: it is not a wine that imposes, but one that seduces with the precision of its contours and a very well-measured inner tension. The hand of Comando G is perceived in that pursuit of purity, transparency and verticality, as if the grape had been combed by the mountain wind before entering the winery. It is a red wine with Madrilenian roots that combines nerve, sensuality and a certain austere nobility, of the kind that becomes more interesting the more you listen to it.

It comes from Garnacha vineyards located in the Rozas de Puerto Real area, in the Sierra de Gredos, within the D.O. Vinos de Madrid. The granitic, sandy and siliceous soils give it that stony imprint, almost of hot stone and clean air, which so well defines the great mountain wines. These are plots of old vines, worked with care to capture the most naked and sincere expression of the landscape. The altitude and the influence of a cool climate help preserve the natural tension of the grape and to draw a profile that is finer than voluptuous.
