Las 30 del Cuadrado
Información sobre este vino:
Las 30 del Cuadrado is a white wine from Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana, a name which in the Marco de Jerez sounds like a lineage, a patience, and that briny elegance that only comes to be where the Atlantic breeze knows how to refine the vineyard. Its personality, defined by the style classification joven in the market, although it has a vocation for depth far greater than that of an ordinary white, rests on the grape Palomino Fino, that variety which, when it falls into sensitive hands, stops being discreet and becomes almost sculptural.
This white wine presents itself with an understated fineness and, precisely because of that, even more seductive: it has something of old light, of sun-warmed wet stone, and of cultured conversation at the end of the afternoon. It doesn’t chase easy dazzling; instead, it offers a serene harmony, with an austere nobility that recalls wines that prefer to hint rather than shout. In it, the winery signs a white with a Jerez spirit—delicate and, at the same time, full of character—where the fruit is held back so the soil, the wind, and time can speak.
Its gastronomic and sensory profile places it among the whites that invite you to the table with an almost aristocratic naturalness: seafood, fish, rice dishes, appetizers, and dishes where salinity and subtlety find a perfect alliance. Las 30 del Cuadrado has that rare virtue of seeming sober and, at the same time, hinting at a complexity that unfolds little by little, like a fine fabric moved by the coastal breeze.
It comes from the El Cuadrado estate, in the surroundings of Balbaína Alta, an area of strong Atlantic influence where the vineyard acquires a personality marked by limestone and sea air. The old Palomino Fino vines contribute character and depth, as if the land had learned to speak in a low voice but with impeccable diction.
