Quincha Corral

Información sobre este vino:

Quincha Corral is a red wine from Bodega Mustiguillo, a serious and almost aristocratic interpretation of the Bobal grape in its deepest form. It is a wine of aging with a silently monumental spirit, born in DOP El Terrerazo, where altitude, limestone and old vines leave an unmistakable signature: austerity at first, greatness at the end.

Its personality is built like dry stone architecture: precise, sober, yet full of nuance. It is not a wine that shouts; it murmurs with authority. In it, Bobal ceases to be just a traditional variety and becomes an instrument of precision, capable of expressing concentration, freshness and an earthy nobility that recalls the great single-estate reds, those that do not seek to seduce with artifice but with truth.

The aging in vats and barrels provides a refined texture, wrapping the black fruit, spices and balsamic memories with an almost liturgical elegance. It is a red wine of broad presence, with a firm pulse, with that so attractive blend of power and restraint that defines truly serious wines.

It comes from vineyards located at 800 meters above sea level in El Terrerazo, on calcareous soils of dolomitic origin with a sandy-loam texture. The vines, old and dry-farmed, are trained in goblet style with organic management, which reinforces the austere and authentic character of the wine. The combination of altitude, Mediterranean-continental climate and very low yields favors slow, precise ripening, giving rise to a deep, concentrated expression of Bobal with great identity.
