ZÁRATE TRAS DA VIÑA

Información sobre este vino:

Zárate Tras da Viña is a white wine from the Denominación de Origen Rías Baixas, produced by the winery Zárate, a pioneer in the production of Albariño in Galicia. This wine is made from grapes grown on a 0.6-hectare plot with vines over 50 years old, giving it exceptional complexity and elegance. The harvest is manual, with a rigorous selection of the grapes, and fermentation takes place spontaneously in stainless-steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve the variety’s natural freshness and acidity. Afterwards, the wine remains on fine lees for 18 months without bâtonnage, which gives it body and depth.

In the glass, Zárate Tras da Viña shows a bright golden-yellow color, reflecting its youth and vitality. On the nose, it offers a medium intensity with aromas of ripe white fruits, such as apricot and white peach, accompanied by subtle floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom. The minerality of the granite soil is clearly perceived, adding unique complexity and depth. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, with a fleshy structure and well-integrated tannins that provide a velvety feel. Its fresh acidity and persistent finish make it an easy-to-drink and highly enjoyable wine.

This wine is ideal for pairing with shellfish, fresh fish, seafood rice dishes, salads, and mild cheeses. It is recommended to serve it between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., Zárate Tras da Viña offers an excellent value for money, making it a great choice to enjoy with friends and family at meals.
