UBE MIRAFLORES

Información sobre este vino:

UBE Miraflores is a white wine from the winery Cota 45, an exercise in precision and almost liturgical sensitivity at the heart of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Its character is built on the aging classification of a wine of medium ageing, with a short but decisive maturation that gives it depth without stripping it of its nerve. It is a white that does not chase easy volume or obvious perfume; it prefers saline elegance, tension, and an expression of the terroir that feels drawn with fine chalk over the Atlantic breeze.

In the glass, UBE Miraflores presents itself with the luminous sobriety of wines that know their origin well. The Cota 45 winery works here with the Palomino variety with an almost archaeological reading of the landscape, and the result is a white wine with the soul of the landscape and the pulse of refined coastal character. It has something of wet albero, of hot stone at sunset, and of salt that lingers suspended in the air; a combination that lends it a rare and highly prized distinction.

Its style is sober yet suggestive, with a natural gastronomy that invites you to the table without any fuss. It does not seek to dazzle through exuberance, but rather through nuance, through that ability to unfold like a silk fan: first the white fruit, then the floral notes, then the discreet yeast and, in the background, a maritime imprint that extends the impression like an elegant echo.

It is a wine that speaks with the accent of a specific vineyard site, of soil and of patience. The albariza lends it its chalky firmness, its capacity to retain moisture, and that almost mineral texture that turns every sip into a small lesson in liquid geography. UBE Miraflores is not a simple companion white: it is one of those wines that elevate the conversation and refine the palate with quiet, almost aristocratic authority.

It comes from plots in the Pago de Miraflores, between Miraflores Alta and Miraflores Baja, on albariza soils that provide freshness, savoriness and that chalky imprint so characteristic of the Marco de Jerez. The different expressions of the terrain —lentejuelas, lustrillos and tosca cerrada— impart nuances of salinity, tension and a certain unctuousness, as if the landscape spoke with different voices of the same music.
