Zárate Tras da Viña

Información sobre este vino:

Zárate Tras da Viña is a white wine from the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin, produced by the Zárate winery, a pioneer in the production of Albariño in Galicia. This wine is made with grapes from a 0.6-hectare plot of vines over 50 years old, which gives it exceptional complexity and elegance. The harvest is manual, with rigorous grape selection, and fermentation takes place spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve the freshness and natural acidity of the variety. Subsequently, the wine remains on fine lees for 18 months without bâtonnage, which gives it body and depth.

In the glass, Zárate Tras da Viña presents a bright golden yellow color, a reflection of its youth and vitality. On the nose, it offers medium intensity with aromas of ripe white fruits, such as apricot and white peach, accompanied by subtle floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom. The minerality of the granitic soil is clearly perceived, providing unique complexity and depth. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, with a fleshy structure and well-integrated tannins that provide a velvety sensation. Its fresh acidity and persistent finish make it an easy-drinking and very pleasant wine.

This wine is ideal for pairing with shellfish, fresh fish, seafood rice dishes, salads, and soft cheeses. It is recommended to serve it between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., Zárate Tras da Viña offers an excellent value for money, being an excellent choice to enjoy at meals with friends and family.
